A group of level 2 students from Department of Engineering Technology visited several mushroom farms in Kamburupitiya area to investigate difficulties in machineries used in mushroom cultivation with their Project Supervisor, Ms. BHCS Thilakarathna , Lecturer(Probationary), Department of Engineering Technology. There, students discussed with local mushroom farmers about their needs on the production line. The field visit was the initial step to seek possibilities of providing solutions to local mushroom producers requests for improving mushroom growing operations in the local region.
